Think of this meetup as your first step on that journey or for those who have already started, maybe a road sign.

Does gear make a difference, the simple answer is yes, but it is not the deciding factor when it comes to astrophotography. This meetup will look at planning your session, camera settings, required equipment. I want this meetup to help you maximise your current gear as your start capturing milky way shots.

Loved it, such a productive and pleasant afternoon with some great shots being the result. Chris? knowledge of light is extensive and if I can now channel a small amount of that I will be that more confident and able. My model was ecstatic with the shots and thinks I need to sign up again so she can play model again. Thanks Chris

Christopher imparted good knowledge techniques and tips and made it easy to understand. He has a good approach combining showing telling and observing to help participants to get a full grasp of the methods under instruction. The workshop was excellent and high value. The weather made it challenging but we did it under cover thankfully.
